This is a good fit for technology that is adept at finding things but is also often wrong.

If a neural network is only right 75% of the time, but we run it 100 times per day, that still translates to an explosion of astronomical discoveries once we investigate and throw out the 25%.

Much better than putting it in charge of my car brakes or heart pacemaker.
