@AmirGaza I try to enjoy my life, but knowing there are so many innocent people suffering is always in my thoughts no matter how happy I feel. I bet many people who watch the World Cup right now probably have similar feelings.
I once read a poem by Mahmoud Darwish called “Think of Others.” I am reminded of that poem a lot these days.

I pray that your life remains filled with peace, happiness, and tranquility. We did not choose this path of suffering; it was forced upon us against our will. Before the war, we had a beautiful life, a home, a job, and all the ingredients for happiness, but we lost them all with the war, and now we are simply trying to survive. But people who are not native English speakers would likely just copy the same English terminology that they learned from the English news channels, which all call it a “war.” And I think it is cruel to bring into question their authenticity the way you did.
