@EUCommission If there is an aim for AI, I hope there is a proposal for sustainable data-centers.
Then I would be worried which data would it be gathering to teach those AI models.

As for Open-Source, is there a plan for migration from Windows to GNU/Linux or FreeBSD and a requirement for phone manufacturers to allow users to install on their phones different operating systems with ease, (e.g. how it works on most laptops)?

I'm unsure if you're oblivious to it or intentionally lying, but #DigitalOmnibus is damaging GDPR and is damaged rather in favor of big-tech.

Fighting monopolies is one thing, but shall be done properly.

One example would be Valve's Steam store. It is rather a monopoly and even most Valve fans agree on this, however, it has little to no competition. Other provide less features & worse experience.

So we shall embrace competition than just blindly "fight" monopolies.

1. It shouldn't be META's responsibility in this case. You do not jail a store because they failed to keep the shop-lifters away.

2. On the other hand, if they are spying on any user (even not their users) then they are sure to have the age estimates of their users and thus be able to filter them.

From all the reasons, however, I found the inability to filter users that are underaged to be the least concerning.

So the only way to reduce e-waste in cable production is to not include cables with the purchased devices.

Yes, it is more convenient for me to need just one cable, but I'd say that the Microslops artificial Windows 11 requirements produced much more e-waste than the cables in span of multiple years.

But I'm a bit of skeptical with the rules.
Don't get me wrong, we shall sanction deepfakes. But the law doesn't protect uneducated on all the scams / fakes to not fall victim to those. They can at most sanction the one who did it, if we'd be able to find the culprit.

We should put a huge emphasis on education.

Do not suggest AI. Too harmful to nature and it won't work, it might make things actually worse.
