They have gone out on a limb, deep in debt, owing returns to powerful entities and they are falling behind the Chinese.

Now that tell lies about the dangers of AI, which is a transformational disruptive technology, and it is ending the USAnian dominance of high tech.

@bruces I don’t think that video’s strange, pretty standard early 90s rave music.

For early weird music, I was going to say John Cage, but he studied with Schoenberg, so I’ll go with the atonal composers. Depends on what you consider weird?

Weird? How far back do you wanna go? 27-year-old Hector Berlioz (pre-video, pre-record) got pretty dam weird (for his day) with his 1830 "ymphonie fantastique".

@bruces René Clair, Entr'acte (1924) maybe? Musically not terribly weird.

Begone dull care is much later, and has jazz which was more experimental.

Oskar Fischinger did An Optical Poem before WW2, but it's experimental visuals with classical music.

I appreciate the Internet Archive, but I have no problem if people want the things they create kept out of it.

Have you seen anyone raising the news about Xwitter and Meta having blocked their "public" posts from WayBack machine archiving, and/or news outlet paywalls blocking the WayBack machine now allowing outlets to revise with no easy recourse?
